Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I was pretty funny three years ago.

Hee. I feel your pain. I haven't been funny since I met the Wallybee. Except to her, she thinks I'm a laugh riot. So did Bec before she watched all my favourite shows and found I'd pinched all my best lines.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I haven't been funny since I met the Wallybee. Except to her, she thinks I'm a laugh riot.

I'm sure you've been very funny -- you've just been talking to her instead of posting here. WHY DON'T YOU MARRY HER IF YOU LIKE SO MUCH, HUH?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Oh, they're going to be totally fucked when Matt leaves. They're going to get serious sticker shock when they try to replace him.

Heh, the same thing happened when my old boss tried to replace me. That position still hasn't been filled and they are thinking about outsourcing registration page design. Because the position is support staff pay scale, but requires website and database design... so people who were happy with the pay scale don't have the skills and people who have the skills laughed at the money.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

How is everyone's weekend going?

So far today, I have been semi-productive. I cleaned out and reorganized the bathroom. I through out two big bags of old make-up and bath products, and then I put everything back all nice and orderly. This means I can go order new stuff from Lush, right?

Hey. New board.

How is everyone's weekend going?

Fabulous!

I have not been awesomely productive like you, unfortunately, but i don't care. Basically, my day has consisted of waking up, putting on LOTS of clothes (two pairs of paints, three pairs of socks, even more layers up top...), standing in line for two hours at the Spring Awakening box office for student rush, checking out J. Crew and being disappointed by the fact that I need more warm sweaters and they want to sell me shorts (seriously, am I the only person that buys clothes at the time of year I NEED them, rather than ahead of time?), walking the 2 miles back to my neighborhood, and eating a delicious brunch. In about 8 minutes, I'm going to walk back to the theater. So I guess I'll have walked 4 miles, which counts as productivity - woo exercise!

I love Saturdays.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

How is everyone's weekend going?

I'm feeling shamefully no-strings-attached, because The Boy (for lo, he is INSANE) is camping this weekend with his brothers and cousins. It's a tradition they've had for about 20 years (or maybe longer) -- they camp when it's crazy-ass cold, because that way there aren't a lot of other people there, like drunk rednecks who like to shoot guns.

Anyway, it makes me feel like a baaaaad girlfriend, but I feel so liberated, having a weekend to myself! I'm currently reading this book, and I can't put it down. Though I do have to get groceries at some point, and -- because I'm not actually a totally shitty girlfriend, I have to go let The Boy's dogs out and feed all the animals and then go back at least 1 more time (prolly 2) to let the dogs out again.

Living on the EDGE, I tells ya.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Steph, you're making me smile. Good on you.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

How is everyone's weekend going?

Well... I'm awake.
