Student teaching is going well. I just finished my first week of taking over 4 classes. There's def. a learning curve, but I do think I'm learning. And, I'm enjoying it. The kids are great.

I, however, am sick like a sick thing. I started feeling bad about 2 weeks ago. I called the doc on Monday and couldn't get in to see her until yesterday. She told me that if I had waited much longer, she would have hospitalized me.

But now I'm on Fun Drugs, which I had to pay full price for due to a paperwork error with the insurance company. Seems they randomly dropped half my company from the insurance plan on 1/1/07, which was the day we started on their freaking plan.

Anyhoo, I shelled out $300 for meds today and better damn well get better now. Once everything gets straightened out, I'll get reimbursed from insurance, but it's a big pain in my rear end.

Oh, poor ChiKat. I hope the drugs work well, and that you get paid back soon.

My doc gave me good drugs, so I expect I'll feel better soon. Unfortunately, one of the drugs is Prednisone, so I expect to go on a feeding frenzy starting around Monday. I hate that stuff. But she said I had to take the 'roids or go to the hospital.

The money? After hearing about all the problems my HR dept. has had with the insurance stuff, I'm not gonna hold my breath about getting it anytime soon.

Now I just need to get the logo designed and all those fun things.

When I was telling Pete about this over dinner, he *did* say "So, who's doing the logo?" I just thought I'd mention it ...

Well, yeah, I'd like to do it for him BUT I am sooo booked til March.

Btw, Drew, while I thought a speaker with devil-horns was a cool idea, I think a pair of headphones with devil-horns is even better. YLogoMMV.

Yes! Yes we do! (Tho' Pete adds the caveat of "Not spicy." For lo, we are both wimps about that.) But yes. Mexican food gooooood.

They do indeed. They also include sushi and possibly cupcakes, though not on the same night as the Mexican food.
