We can call it "squab" if you prefer
Except I know what squab is.
I'm flashing on the Monty Python box of chocolates sketch and thinking of John Cleese liltingly describing the "lightly killed" frogs.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If we took the bones out it wouldn't be crunchy....
I'm sorry Robin. Truly, every woman I know that went through this has said after the fact that they wish they had taken care of it earlier. Relief is at the end of this ordeal. Recovery time varies with the individual. My sister was only in the hospital a few days and made her friend stop to eat at a sit down restaurant on the way home. (she admitted later that was a bit much) She recovered well and went stark raving mad not being able to drive for a couple months. She lives in a remote mountain area and could only go to work if her son or friends drove her. And they refused to do so unless she was behaving herself.
Yay for the hospital being close by so that WBH can visit you lots and lots.
Or Speckled Jim.
This makes me think of Spotted Dick. Which makes me laugh.

John Cleese was the detective guy investigating the purveyor of dangerous sweets....
eta: so he wasn't the guy who said it....
Did anyone ever see Peter Cook and Dudley Moore in "Good Evening" and the sketch about the Frog and Peach restaurant?
Robin, I'm sorry about the surgery but I'm hopeful that this means the end to all the pain you've been going through.

Robin, sorry about the pain and need for the surgery, but here's hoping for a quick recovery and no more pain.
Python SMACKDOWN!
Just off the top of my head, you're both sort of right, but I think Frank is right that the actual phrase "lightly killed" is uttered by Terry Jones.
I could be wrong about that, though.
Season 2 is very good. Not worth having surgery for, but good. Hope you recover fast, bunky.
