I went to the doctor the day before yesterday and my constant cough companion turned out to be a sinus infection. I'm somewhat better after only two doses of the antibiotic, forgot the name but is not Levaquin, for which my wrists thank me.

The last two weeks we've been teetering about in the no sleep zone. Kara won't go down, Aidan gets up in the middle of the night and climbs into bed with us to play after waking the dog, late night trying to get work done before bed... Greg and I are both so tired we're cross-eyed. Aidan fell back asleep, so I'm about to go back to bed for a little bit.
Raq, I'm so glad that everyone (especially you and DH) are ok.

There's an Iconoclast with Maya Angelou and Dave Chappelle and I am adoring them both in ways that is just nearly overwhelming. This makes up for my tv not recording SPN for me. So long as YouTube eventually hooks me up.

It's a show on Sundance
[link] that throws two people together. Sometimes they know each other (Mario Batali and Michael Stipe were unexpected and marvelous together, Redford and Newman were perfectly Redford and Newman) or just met (Isabella Rosellini and the guy who invented the Segway and just about everything else clicked interestingly together, Renée Zellweger and Christiane Amanpour was good because I adore one madly and the other starves herself and whispers so I could mostly ignore her.) but they talk and it is often just totally unexpected.
Well worth watching.

For your viewing amusement, the latest TV spot on my daughter's roller derby league. It's not the normal teams since this was a holiday exhibition bout. They split the girls up into two teams instead of four, the Sugar Plum Scarys and the 'HoHoHos. My daughter's psued for that game was Panty Claws (my idea.)
