Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Cass, what I find really fascinating is that I've been going through the opposite adjusting from a water-everywhere environment to a desert. I like different too. I miss the water, though. Not so much that I need to move to it, but I revel in the rain here in a way I never did back home.
Different is not bad. Who knows where you will find home. You might go from a lush landscape where you are left gasping for air and find happiness in the sparsest of lands.

So... Did we know tattoos hurt? Because I feel I should have been warned given narcotics.

Um. That's what the drinking afterwards tradition is for. You really should have done this with Buffistas and not flouted tradition et al. Ibu not doing the trick?

The after is just itchy right now. Irritated but not horrible.

I just have a needle thing (anxiety!) and a pain thing (pain!) and so the actual act? Not beautiful music.

From the glimpses I have stolen, totally worth it. Just not fun in itself.

Did your tattooist tell you the hot washcloth trick? Soak a washcloth in water as hot as you can stand, then wring out the washcloth and put it over your tattoo. It helps with the itching.

I can't wait to see your tattoo!

My buddy who has this cool medieval cross thing on his back experienced this. Plus he left potato imprints of his tattoo all over the bedding I loaned him when he and his gf crashed at my place after. You know, in school, when you use a potato to make a stamp of [image], then leave it everywhere. Yeah, we mocked him. With friends like these, blah blah ...

The status is NOT quo.

Lotion. Lots and lots of lotion. Did you pick up any of the special tattoo healing goop?

I can do a hot washcloth? Nice. Cause I am about to be wickedly pms and was realizing (lo, after the fact) that my timing suuucked. I was worried about ??? something.

It's all pretty, I think. And I really did fret on the content for long enough that I am as close to content about it as I will ever be. Heh, content on the content. I amuse me.

She rec'd Eucerin (that has got to be spelled wrong) and Lubriderm. I picked up some of .. one of them the Eucerin.

Lord knows the aftercare on my piercings always was easier and seemed to work out better when I stopped fussing, kept things very clean and just let them heal. Not that I always listened, just 20/20 hindsight.

I strongly recommend Tattoo Goo. Lubriderm is okay, but Tattoo Goo is the bestest.

Huh. Like climbing salve. If it gives me any twinge, I will hunt it down. Thanks.
