Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

...is there a cocktail out there called a Metaphor? If not, I may have to invent one. Because I think that the entertainment of mixing a metaphor would just never die.

how about true drinking Chocolate, Kahlua and a splash of Creme De Menthe?

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Mostly lurking...

The alternative, a full-care facility, would make her so frantic and disoriented that as long as she's mobile and we can contain and control her, we and her doctors think she's better off at home.

Yeah. We did this grandma for a long time. But, eventually, it just became too much.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wanna know what caused the stick people to become extinct? click - - > [link]

Heeeeeee.

Hey, was it one of you, again, who donated $150 to my marathon fund on January 25? For some reason, it only just posted to the site, and I don't recognize the name.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Okay, I shouldn't be giggling outloud at the stick figures at work, but I am.

{{Bev}} Multiply the hugs by a million, it wouldn't fit on the screen and people might get pissy with a thousand box interrupted post. You have the hardest of parental care situations that one can have. Venting is healthy, especially when you have a safe place to do it. Please don't ever stop coming here for hairpats, we'd feel cheated if we didn't get to give them out.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Our wings are not tired.

Guess I should have said not work safe. Hee.

Now tagless for your comfort.

{{{Bev}}}

Laura, stick people made me laugh.

Destructo Boy strikes again: The kids and I were upstairs playing. I take a moment to pee and come back to find Owen had used the drawers in Olivia's changing table to climb up and rip the butterflies off her wall. And broken through the bottom of the (admittedly, cheap ass) furniture drawer.

Must now remove screws from cheap, pasteboard drawer and figure out how to replace the bottom.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm lying in bed because I apparently did something that my stomach very angry with me, and seems that whatever my landlord did to try to keep the smoke out of my apartment didn't work at all. So now I can't breathe either.

What is even happening?

The alternative, a full-care facility, would make her so frantic and disoriented that as long as she's mobile and we can contain and control her, we and her doctors think she's better off at home.
I'm so sorry, Bev. I wish you could get a break.

Oh, Owen, what a lucky little love you are to have been born in a time when spankings are frowned upon.

Cindy, glad the fever's come down a bit, hope he continues to improve. I'm a little concerned about your household's brewing Electra complex - but also really amused.

The fever came back up when the drugs wore off. I gave him more Tylenol. It went up more. I gave him Motrin and I'm sitting on my hands to keep from taking his temperature again.

I don't know if it's an Electra complex, so much as she'd really like me to be a little more exciting. *sigh*
