Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

{{{Deena}}} I think Aidan's got the gist of Monday down pretty well. I hope you guys are staying warm up there.

I'm attempting to keep socks on all the little feet to ward off the cold.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Good luck with that, Cash. My mom bought Em these great fleece slippers and she HATES them. Screams when we put them on her.

Craxy kids.

Perzactly! I can keep Robeez on Liv but Owen pulls off everything I put on his feet. He just prefers them bare. I keep fighting him during the day though, because they feel like ice after a while.

OK--it's lunch time and then NAPS!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hope Aidan's birthday gets better, Deena.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I forgot to say earlier, good luck with the move, Sparky!!!

Because books.

Go Em! What a good girl -- and what a scary thing. My mom is freaky about keeping all her pills up and away from the kids, but she's their grandmother. I'm sure Jay didn't even think about it.

{{{Deena}}} and {{{Aidan}}} Poor guy. I hope he feels better.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Deena & Aidan}} And Aidan, Stop Beating Up Mom!

I take it that hellacious tornado that ripped through your state was near neither you nor askye?

Awful stuff with many fatalities. About 250 miles north of me, and probably over 200 south of askye. Long state and it cut through the middle.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Morning, All.

Very glad to hear that you and askye (and assorted family) escaped unscathed, Laura.

{{Deena}} & {{ Aidan }} (keeping a little distance since he's not in a touching mood, apparently). Hope the day improves.

P-C, excellent advice you've received, so I'll just wish good luck!

{{Cindy & DH & kids}} Sounds like a horrifically loooong week(end). Lots of strong-immune-system-ma for you guys!

And...I'm sure there were more, but my cup runneth over with gronk. Brain no worky.

So, I seem to have dropped about 7 lbs so far on this diet (and that's with no workout Fri, Sat, or Sun - someone superglued my ass down in front of taped TV and reading I needed to catch up on, totally beyond my control). But the money, and the labor, and the glayvin. Oy! So much cheaper to just stay fat! And after all the time in the store (only an hour and a half this week, we're getting it down to a system), the register didn't like my check. We stood there an extra seven-ish minutes while the checker and then her manager tried, over and over, to get the machine to read my check (manager finally had to run it through a different register). Bad enough for us, I felt really bad for the 2 guys behind us with about seven items each.

And one of the drafters brought in chocolate cake today. Bastidge.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happier than you've been earlier in the day Birthday, Aidan!

Go, Epic! Too bad it is so hard to convince ourselves that Success is sweeter than cake.

And in case I didn't mention it before, job~ma to you, Askye!

As for me, I had happy fun blood work taken this morning. And that would be me deleting a two-paragraph rant on how much not fun phlebotomy is for me.
