I couldn't believe it the first twenty times you told us, but it's starting to sink in now.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The apartment is warm, but since the only place to sit is on the floor or the stairs, I can't take advantage of the warmest spots. My DH is out on a mission to fill my coffee mug, bless him.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hated the liquid so much that I started swallowing pills at around 5.

I am with Robin and vw in this, which is pretty good company. My first full sentence to a doctor was "Does it come in a pill?" I had to take way too much of that red sticky liquid penicillin that you had to keep in the refrigerator. That was so nasty that I still don't really like anything cherry flavored or what I think of as "red flavored," since there doesn't seem to be any connection between it and actual cherries.

Yay for being safely in your apartment, Sparky!

Yay for being closer to Atlanta, Ginger! Not only does the city have bragging rights to you, but my college house-mate and a very good lawyer friend -- so I'm already thinking a weekend away.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY EAST COAST SPARKY! The librarian-fu of the whole mid-atlantic region has just gotten a bump! (but the lack of coffee and internet and stuff kinda sucks...)

POUT YAY for safe landings, Sparky! I hope you get internet and your coffee maker soon.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for arriving, Sparky. May all the necessary details come together soon.

Mostly lurking...

Yay for safe arrival for Sparky! Hope your stuff all gets there soon!

The movers are here! And they want their check. Have a good day, everyone!

Yay Sparky!

I clearly remember attempting to take a liquid medication as a child that tasted so wretched that I threw up almost every time I took it. Even the memory is making me nauseous.

ION, gronk to infinity.

Because books.

Stephen was like that -- even now, he can't take liquid meds to save his life.

I can take cough syrup, but nothing creamy, like Pepto Bismol or anything white. ::shudder:: I throw it right up.

Yay, soon to be furnitured (and coffeed) Sparky!

Must be a regional thing, we had orange flavor that had never been anywhere near a real orange. Gag. OTH, I was a pro at swallowing pills pretty young. I'm one of the freaks who can swallow pills dry if I have to. Not to say I like it, but in times of make do a little saliva goes a long way for me.
