Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, who am I kidding. This is never going to work. They're always right, and I'm always wrong, and I'm always right, and they're always wrong.
It's nice to have traditions.

But JZ's advice? Really good. And maybe she'll listen a little and you won't have to spend years vetoing obviously wrong for you women. Maybe just eighteen months.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

P-C. that's black and white thinkikng and won't get you anywhere. They THINK they're right. They will always thinkt hey're tight, but so what? The point is to get them to do what you want, not to think like you. I think marshalling arguments in favor of running your biodata your way is the way to go. Maybe offering to do it your way for a year and if it deosn't work trying her way will do it--especially if you tell her the alternative is not to do it at all.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I like Robin's plan, and JZ's plan, and there was some Hec goodness posted earlier. Frankly, I'm just cheering everyone, most including you, PC. You can do this.

Yes, I am the queen of the respiratory infection.

And Karl too! Whee! Finally, relatives I like.

I just read that this is now the conceptual age, and creative thinkers are in highest demand. I thought of all of you (and me) and shouted, which disturbed the dog, husband and children. Oops.

Tep! How do you make apple whatsis (crumble?) in the crock pot? Until my oven is fixed, we are sadly bakeless.

Cindy, I'm sorry you've had such a craptastic weekend. I hope things get better for all of you very quickly.

We have a terrible weather day tomorrow. No school! That means we may actually get to sleep in tomorrow morning.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I've skipped. I've skimmed, big time.

You missed photos.

I hope Ben improves soon, and things settle down.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The point is to get them to do what you want, not to think like you.

As per usual, Robin is brilliant. This, this, this.

This, too. What scrappy said x 10,000.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I just got home a bit ago.

It's -15 F.

Predictions are for decreasing temps.

I fear Andi may leave me for this.

OTOH? Snuggling!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Robin wants me to invest in some larger testicles.

On the upside, that will make me more appealing to women.

But would it be ok to put on your biodata?

{{Cass}}, {{Cindy and clan}}

{{P-C}} You know, this may be silly, but your story reminds me a bit of Bride and Prejudice.

There's a part where our heroine is meeting a fellow from America that wants to meet her, and he's pretty much exactly not her type.

She ends up with the dashing non-Indian fellow, so...
