I am about to turn last night's potroast into a stew. and make an orange and red onion salad to go with it.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm thinking about turning the nap into a wrapped-in-down-comforter-eating-spicy-pasta-watching-S2-Buffy instead.
It's not root-cold here, but it's 16. Ick.
It's a little premature, isn't it?
A little. I don't expect anyone to top you, though. We'll see!
Oh my God. Stop ruining the Requiem for a Dream theme. It does NOT APPLY TO FOOTBALL.
Somewhere, Clint Mansell is crying.
Emmett and I are back from Amoeba where he spent money on records for the first time.
He bought two AC/DC CDs.
I think Jack Black would approve.
Hey, I just discovered that I can watch season 2 of Slings and Arrows - free on demand.
I haven't watched season 1 -- will that prevent my understanding of it? (I think that the first episode is only around 'til the end of this month -- therefore not enough time to find and watch all of season 1.)

Random update:
On Friday I got stuck in that hellish 405 crane vs. the freeway fiasco. It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to get from UCLA to Sherman Oaks. For those of you not in LA, that's like 10 miles or so. It wasn't pretty.
We got a crab for our aquarium yesterday. The boy who sold it to us at the store said they can climb out of the tank. Guess what the crab did this morning? Ew ew ew ew! It lived and is back in the tank but it gave me a wiggins something fierce to see it skittering across the floor. Thing's lucky neither cat saw it before we did...
I am working on a mid-term paper and two group projects for school and work is eating me starting with my bottom. Calgon?
I haven't watched season 1 -- will that prevent my understanding of it?
Not really. You'll lose some context, but you won't be totally lost. You just need to know that Geoffrey is haunted by the ghost of his mentor and predecessor as artistic director. Also that Geoffrey and Ellen were lovers many many years ago, but at the start of S2, they are not together.
Is that the one with the growly, scratchy string instrument?
You mean the cello? Yes. It's been featured in every movie trailer known to man. It's the new Carmina Burana.
