I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Gronk. Landlord coming to fix my sink this morning. Need to be dressed this time, and possibly do some cleaning first too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My landlord is finally supposed to be coming to fix the holes in the closet that are letting the smoke get into our apartment, so we are begrudgingly doing the cleaning and getting dressed thing too, brenda. Luckily most of the apartment got cleaned up yesterday because Dave's family came by, but the bedroom still needs to be tackled.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronk. I slept late, and just got woken up by a delivery. Now I need to make breakfast, and then go grade papers.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I had no interest in seeing ND (the movie) but my mom had rented it when I was visiting her so we watched it. She fell asleep. I spent about the first half hour scratching my head and feeling depressed for ND and his schoolmates. Then I realized that the filmmaker wasn't making fun of the characters (my fear during those first 30 minutes) but showing the heart and charm behind the geek exterior. By the time it was done, I really really liked it. Enough that I had GF watch it (who also liked it enough to buy the DVD). So, I am pro but I do think it's overrated.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lily's arm is really cute in that picture. I guess that sounds kinda weird, but it is cute!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Her arm still has traces of baby in that picture. Hints of plumpness. It's very much a little kid arm now.

It's amazing to me to look at the pics and realize, wow, I really have lost a bunch of weight between then and now. In addition to getting my hair chopped off.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thank you guys so much for the links to the articles on the dig! I was just able to use it in my discussion for class when someone said that the house slaves were the same as nannies and housekeepers today.

This has been a good school week.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

when someone said that the house slaves were the same as nannies and housekeepers today.

Aimee, your classmates never cease to amaze.

Yeah, maybe the housekeepers and nannies on certain especially prurient eps of SVU, but otherwise? WTF?
