[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Blerg. So tired. Woke up at 2am, went to the bathroom, came back and a sleeping Tom, about every 2-4 minutes, heaves a completel lower body TWITCH thing that jars me from getting back to sleep. I end up staying awake for an hour... seriously considering just getting up and like going to work or something... but Tom gave me half an ativan which helped dispel some of the insomnia anxiety and I kinda sorta was able to sleep for another 3 hours, though very lightly and with very weird dreams.

FUCK YOU INSOMNIA FAIRY.

Anyway, the long and short of it is, 2 short naps overnight did not a good night's sleep make, so I'm just tired and cranky and tired some more.

Art Crawl!!!

I think that the play that Daniel Radcliffe did was Equus , wasn't it? Is he doing it somewhere else now and thus the new publicity pictures?

It's too frakking cold. 3 degrees - bah! And my "lovely" new heating system is just not able to stand up to that kind of cold. It was 60 degrees in my bedroom when I went to bed. I turned the heater up and when I woke up it was 56. See, that's NOT how heaters are supposed to work.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Have fun, Sparky! Your not going to be very far from my friend T.

{{{Nora}}}

I just woke up from a third night of not good enough sleep. I kept waking up from nightmares or sounds. I'm groggy, and I should leave for therapy soon.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Safe driving, Sparky!

That sucks, sj. I hope the sleep fairy comes and visits you soon.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gronk.

I woke up really hungry. Like, dizzy hungry, which I haven't felt since I started cutting out sugar, so I'm going to blame it on the two cups of soda I had yesterday. Pretty much all the breakfast food I have requires cooking, which I don't quite feel up to. Bah.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

...Pete's ass is chapless?

???

Um. That's...that's just very very wrong. Pete is dressed with dignity and aplomb at al times. Yes.

So your official position is that chaps convey an air of dignity and aplomb? Iiiiiiiiinteresting...

Our wings are not tired.

{{sleepyheads}} Sleep dep is the worst.

Safe and fun travels Sparky!

Daniel Radcliffe is way too young and wee to interest me. Didn't really care much for Equus either.

ION, every day I am surprised at how many HS students, particularly boys, wear flip flops to school. First, my feet would cry if I wore them on concrete for 8 hours walking around with a heavy backpack. Second, it was cold out yesterday and today. I'm clearly an old fogey at this point.

Heh- I see college students dart around in flip flops and shorts and no coat ALL THE TIME. In FEBRUARY. In BOSTON.

Clearly they are on drugs, I'm hoping the HS students aren't. Hee, see, old fogey.
