one of the guys says "They all have a chance to drop, if you think about it, it's just a question of where they land."
Heh. That sounds like Giants announcer Jon Miller.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

From the Hollywood Reporter:
Anyone hoping for a straight answer from a cast member of NBC's "The Office" was sorely disappointed. The cast, which won for best ensemble in a comedy series, had jokes for most questions posed. When asked about their impression of the SAG Award statuette, Rainn Wilson (who plays Dwight Schrute) said: "There's a nub where the genitals should be. I actually posed for this several years ago. I was buttocks model for this." When asked what to expect from future episodes of the NBC comedy, Paul Lieberstein (Toby) answered, "Someone will die." When it appeared that the press corps took it seriously, he quickly added: "I'm kidding about someone will die. But an animal will attack. Nobody is safe." One of the few serious utterances came from Jenna Fischer (Pam Beesly), who revealed what she was thinking when the cast of "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" was presenting the award. "I was daydreaming and wondered if one day in many years we'll be getting back together to present an award. We truly like each other."
Tep, did you know that the NY Times has an online feature called "The Lede: Notes on the News"?
Whenever I see "lede" I think of you and your old-school journalism schooling.
EARTHQUAKE!
A little teeny one. But still.
IN SENSAROUND!
No earthquake here, but we are having major lake effect snow. It's still daylight, and you can't see a car coming on the road out front until you see the headlights. Total whiteout. The kids got let out early, thank god, because apparently we're getting between 3-5 inches an hour, and it's already been snowing like this for two hours.
We already had a good sixteen inches on the ground, too.

Jeebus.
I need to drive up to CalArts and get some contract stuff done for the class I'm teaching this semester. Have I left the house yet? No. Am I motivated to leave the house? No.
Gah! I need to get this shit done.
Go forth and get shit! Done!
