I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Librarian Warlord

I like the color Aimee! It does something to make your smile/eyes pop.

I should go to Seattle and get hair coloring lessons from Plei, as I'm going to have to do-it-myself, I think, when we get to D.C. and start the uber-penny pinching to buy ourselves some real estate.

Beej, I'm glad that you and the guy made a decision and moved forward. It's a good thing.

bt, I hope the two months pass very quickly. Just think how beautiful she'll be when you see her again!

Compassionately intolerant

Thanks my lovelies. I'm a bit more sad today and flopping around with the now what am I going to do randomness of change. But mostly okay.

After a not very sleep-filled night, (and I've got the dark circles to prove it) I'm off to have lunch with an acquaintance who is part of the new city counsel administration, over-seeing a committee whose charge, in which, I actually have a degree. Nothing specific on my mind, just putting myself out there for project work.

Any superfluous good thoughts for something cool/lucrative would be greatly appreciated.

Love the hair color Aimee. The camera truly does love you.

Random ex- boyfriend.

Our wings are not tired.

Beej, was the bf Duke? Wow. And a wish for happy days again soon for you, and also both non-superfluous and superfluous job thoughts are sent your way.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

It's going to be lonely coming back to Australia alone after our wedding. I hope I get to greet her at the airport again soon after.
Sniff

Damn allergies. Hang in there. When she arrives, you'll be able to make up for lost time, and you will have so much joy together.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Reason 876 why kids are nutty and craxy-making:

Joe noticed Em felt warm yesterday so he checker her temp - 100.3. She's been harboring a pretty bad cough, so her and I stayed home. I made a doctor's appointment.

We got there and she had all sorts of energy. What she didn't have was a fever and a cough. Duck checked her out - listened to lungs, looked in ears and mouth - everything all clear.

We went home, she took a nap. Got up, had lunch, played outside. No fever.

This morning? Back to 100.3. Cough. Scratchy voice.

t bangs head on desk

Joe's home with her today. We're doping her up on Tylenol Cold and Cough. She's resting all day and drinking water and OJ. Hopefully, we can most of this gone before tomorrow when we fly out.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Aimee, I got sick of the damned three week cold and broke down and took the kids to the pediatrician on Monday. She checked them up and down--no chest congestion, no ear infections. $60 co-pay. Their runny noses dried up on Tuesday night. *headdesk*

FWIW, mine had been bouncing a low-grade fever up and down. It's not uncommon to have a fever disappear in the morning and be back up by afternoon. Everything I've read has indicated that the low fever is actually good because it means the body is making it in hospitable for the virus. As long as she's not majorly congested, I wouldn't fear the flying with her. Good luck and the regular course of Tylenol should help a lot.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Get better, Emeline! You do NOT want to be sick on the plane, young lady.

I love the billytea & Wallybee story. I hope the next two months speed by for you two crazy kids.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Hate illness. esp unexplained illness. esp mine. last night I lost everything I ate that evening. Suddenly and for no apparent reason. then felt better. This am - except for my body being annoyed at the violence last nigh, I feel pretty good. I am being cautious about what is going into it...bah.

Billytea and wallybee may this be the fastest two months ever.
