I say go for it. You like it, DH likes it. That's all that matters.
I'm convinced that, for the most part, most people go through a phase where they hate their name. Not everyone, naturally, but a lot of people. I'm sure once Emeline figures out the Jayne Firefly shout-out-ish - she's gonna be mad.
My feeling is that it's a middle name and should therefore yield a minimum amount of trauma.
I'd agree. Once I settled down to liking my first name, my middle didn't matter that much. My initials still bug, but eh.

Yay, on baby boy Turtle!! Personally, I say name the kid what you want if you both like it. It's your baby.
I'm home sick today. Sick like a sick sick thing. Mucus everywhere.
You're using Hagrid, aren't you?

Bwah! And no. Wrong universe.

And see, I love that I'm named after the Dune character. I think it's awesome that my parents are just that kind of giant nerds. But OTOH, Jessica's a real name, and a really common one, so it's not like I ever had to explain it to anyone. If I'd grown up as Ghanima, I might feel differently.]
Jessica, go for it!
I'm a total nerd. I just went searching for school spoilers. There's a website that the English department uses for some classes, and the syllabus for one of my classes would be up there if the prof was using the site. He's not. So, I have to wait till Monday to see the syllabus.
Damn no spoilers!
Jessica, you can probably guess my opinion on atypical names.
Which is...why hide it in the middle? Kids will be traumatised anyway, and they'll hate you anyway.
Which is...why hide it in the middle?
Because the first name's already picked out, and has been for years. The middle name was up in the air until we knew the gender.
{{ChiKat}} Tissue~ma.

What Aimee said. Name the child what pleases you and E. He'll go through the stages of hating and loving no matter what you name him.
Mine were both named after people IRL. They don't hate me for this, yet.
