Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Turtle Moon Bone! I like it.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It was cold here this morning. 50ish. I had to put on shoes to drive Brendon to school!

My heart bleeds for you. Or it *would* if it weren't currently 21 degrees out....

THREE DEGREES, people.

Of course, I'm not out in it, so there's that.

Our wings are not tired.

I keep telling you to pop down for a tropical weekend, missy. My door is always open, well except for when it's 50, because cold!

eta: that goes for both of you!

::wishing for warmer weather::

My car's power steering appears to have crapped out on me. I have an appointment with my handy-dandy Firestone mechanics for tomorrow morning. Sigh. I don't need this right now.

Mostly lurking...

No guilt. You don't want to slide backwards. Rest and get healthy before venturing out into the cold outdoors.

I'm with Laura. I just walked Toto. It's FREAKING COLD. I may even put off my errands for the day to stay in the nice warm apartment. I don't want to be waiting for a bus in this craziness! Just checked weather.com and we're at 3 degrees/-15 wind chill as well. At least the MA area is consistent!

I think today is just the day to curl myself up under a flannel quilt that needs binding hand-sewed on. Hmmmm...I've even got a couple Netflix movies I need to watch. I think I'm sensing a plan. Although, the plan really needs to include some math.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Definitely stay in today, Nora. I wish I could have convinced TCG to take a sick day just because of the temperature, and he isn't even sick. Winter seems to be making up for all that warm weather it gave us in December.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Sorry if this sounds obvious, but did you check the power steering fluid level?

Turtle Moon Bone!

Sounds like it should have "Zappa" tacked on the end of it.

I think I forgot to squee, so... much congratulations to you Jessica!

~ma for Robin. Doesn't sound fun, and I wish you good luck.

I wouldn't know where to look. It's one of the few things that is still a mystery to me. I did notice that when I started the car up this morning after about a minute I could hear a whine coming from the engine. It stopped in less than a minute, but when I started backing up I could tell I'd lost the power steering. I'm thinking a belt may have slipped off somewhere?
