Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Learning body fat percentage rules so much. You can't do it while pregnant, of course, but man, it's helpful in setting realistic goals.

So true. I won't be near a gym after we move, unfortunately -- I wonder if my doctor would be able to measure this?

Could he maybe be autistic or have Aspergers?

Since his nickname is "Chatty," I doubt it...

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ah, too late. I had the mac and cheese. AIWFG!

It usually is. I'm just feeling oddly anti-dairy today and voted accordingly.

Sorry about the ill-effects, connie, but I'm glad you figured it out.

I have a scale that tells me my body fat%, somehow; there is electricity involved but I also have to tell it how tall I am. It gives me numbers I can believe - very high numbers that I would prefer were not true, but make sense with my weight and build.

I was going to say -- he's very well-socialized and can be quite charming and more or less normal when he wants to be. I've seen it, both at work and outside of work. He just does the hyper-literal thing to be an asshead, I'm pretty sure.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Why are decent navy shoes so hard to find? All I want is a pair of decently priced, mid-heel navy pumps I can wear to work, and I just can't find any.

Lee, what size shoe do you wear? I have two pairs and barely wear either of them. I'd love to send one to you.

That's awfully nice of you, vw, but sadly, I have big clown feet, so I don't think it would work.

Damn. I'm sorry.

If it helps, I think both of my pairs came from DSW, and I know my mom's gotten navy shoes there before.

I've been looking for Navy shoes for ages, too. Not very hard, admittedly, but when I do look I never find any. I thought they were a staple!

I also thought I had some, and may still in the still unpacked box of shoes in the closet that I just dig through looking for the pair I want rather than properly unpacking because I lack shoe storage solutions.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Lee, Brief Trace and Treat Yourself both come in navy. Yeah, I still read the Aerosoles catalogue even when I'm decidedly not shoe shopping.

When I hit 164, I'm overweight by the BMI scale. At this overweightness I'm decidedly bigger than I was at my last normal weight, but it's about a size 8. It's hard to explain so far to anyone, but I feel a bit victorious. Not just that I'm flipping my finger at a number too many people take too seriously, but...well, I know a bunch of lean yet overweight by BMI guys. They're BIG. And in a decidedly pleasant way. Although I'm not as proportionately big, they are good company to be in. And I don't know of any other size 8 women willing to cop to being in this club. I know they're there, but probably all mumblemumble about their weight.

I was trying to get something at least a little bit cheaper, but those are worth noting. Thanks!
