As much as I like television, I'd feel weird about being the channel police. But I do understand that it is not the only thing that developing brains(or any brains, really) need all the time. Television did enable me to see the Dr. Cox actor wet today. Which totally made me think of both ita and Cindy at the same time.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
For Erika--John McC (Cox) and his kid. An adorable picture. [link]
Very cute, Robin. And I may be sentimental, because I'm close to the earth and all, but sometimes it's great to see that social change has happened a bit, anyway, considering how much pain it caused Spencer Tracy to have a deaf kid, and how much he would not have said "This is my son, John. Who is smart as a tack and also Deaf." (Still not fast enough to make me happy but you all know I am a malcontent.)
Turns out today is laundry day. This reminded me of one of my 'failures' in the domestic department. I hate putting away clean clothes. so I don't and in our tiny bedroom - that leads to chaos - and things like DH not realizing he needs shirts to be washed. So I have decided that clean clothes, frpm Now on, go on the bed and have to be put away before we go to bed. and DH has to put his away. I am not sure this will stick any better than any other idea.
So how do you make yourself do the things you really hate to do, but have to get done - at home or work?

Do it without thinking about it. That is don't allow myself to think of the other things I'd rather do.
Also, breaking it down into smaller tasks. Sort the clothes. Then go do something else.
Finally, reward system for a job well done. Like, tasty lunch out.
Bribery.

I set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes and do as much as I can, as fast as I can. Then I take a 5 minute break. Repeat until task completed.

Sit around and not do it, but feel really guilty about it.
I am tommyrot.
I am tommyrot.I would be, but I am mostly over that whole guilt thing.
