[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, that's the Bond Q, not Star Trek.

So, today I think I spent about $250 on various things.

But $200 of that was at the outlet mall.

So really that's like saving money, right? Since it would've cost like, $500 in the real stores?

That is absolutely logic that I can follow, meara.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yep. That's exactly how outlet prices work. Trust me, I'm a mathematician.

I just made guacamole from the Trader Joe's guacamole kit. So yummy. (And really, I totally could have gotten all the things in the kit without it being in a kit, but that would have required way more thought and effort.)

Thrive to spite them

I just had a great night! It was a little unexpected. I went to a meet up of the vegetarian group here and it was the first time I've met them in person, I've chatted with on person on AIM. At first it was a little awkward, but then I got in a groove. I ended up telling people about Gothic Charm School and worked Buffy into the conversation, one guy named his cat Puffy the Rodent Slayer and another woman and I started talking about Supernatural and she really loved Buffy and Angel so I told her about Drive.

Anyway it was cool and I made some tentative plans for this weekend. I won't bore you with all the details but I had fun and definitly worked on my new year's resolution to be more social.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

ya for social. I went down to the cafe for dinner - not knowing if anyone would be there. But matt was off playing with Nic and I didn't want to cook. Ran into a friend who's wife was at a meeting - so we had dinner together - talked a lot and drank a bottle of wine. Some how it relaxed all my ambivilent feeling for leaving a job a like, hoping to find one I love.

EXCELLENT.

Now if I can just get off my ass this weekend and sort through the clothes I already own and get rid of some of them (and/or at least pack them away--I'm scared to get rid of the clothes that no longer fit. What if I need them again?!?! But I need them to be put away and not taking up valuable space)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A yay social night indeed!

I can't even.

Ben then tried to convince him to chill, and by telling Chris that he (Ben) walks around with his shoes untied, half the time (true). Julia then said that she never ties or unties her sneakers, she just slips in and out of them (also true). Then I let them have the freak line.

Hmph. I thought they were a little young for controlled substances. Still, fairly freakish behaviour there, with the whole flouting of shoelace convention. Might wanna keep an eye on them.
