Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

My job's the one that carries the health insurance and DH already works from home, so it was kind of a no-brainer who would be staying home with the kids.

This is what my boss and her husband decided, for just those reasons (only without the NYC cost issue). They're both utterly devoted parents, he's every bit as awesome a full-time caregiver as she would be, and I would not want to be in the line of fire when anyone suggests that she should be doing otherwise just because she's the mother.

I can't even.

I have permanent damage from this board. I read this from last night as:

Clovis has some 'splainin' to do. It looks like he knocked up a pair of House shippers.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Because books.

Everyone needs to work out what's best for them and accept that what's best for them doesn't work for everyone else.

Of course that goes for just about everything.

Fourthing, fifthing, whatever we're up to. This, so much.

Always Anti-fascist!

Except about Sports Night. Everyone should love that. Otherwise you have no heart nor sense of humor. Mom got so she looked forward to them too, and she's a tough TV audience. The toughest...an old hippie with shit to do. As in the sentence "Honey, I've got shit to do. I can't sit around and watch stupid junk like that." As a TV writer, I'd consider it a giant success if my mom watched all of my pilot.

Where'd everybody go? I need to be distracted from actually getting anything done. I'm being too productive!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My cable, phone, and internet keep going out. The cable company doesn't know why, so they're sending someone out tomorrow. The good news is that I can still watch things already recorded on the DVR.
