I go online sometimes, but everyone's spelling is really bad. It's... depressing.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have a t-shirt and jean jacket that I picked up at M&S six years ago and still wear.

Gronk. Tag team pre-dawn wakings are going to kill me. But the coffee's on and Miffy's distracting the kids.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

There used to be Marks and Sparks in Canada - I don't know if there still are. We used to go there for Jaffa Cakes. And clothes for my maiden aunt.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

And yet, you haven't sent me any.

Lee, she did give me a box to give to you for Thanksgiving. But things happened and they got eaten. Sorry.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I just looked out the window and OMGWTFSNOW! Just flurries, but apparently I haven't been paying attention to the weather lately.

I missed the thread turnover. Am sad. But the gingerale/ginger soda thing was funny.

Collection-ma to them what need it. What else did I miss? I woke up tired. I hate when that happens.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee, she did give me a box to give to you for Thanksgiving. But things happened and they got eaten. Sorry.

a) well of course they did, what with them being super yummy and me not being there.

b) Now I feel all mean and stuff for saying that.

c) Thanks ita!

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I mean, I knew they were in Bangkok, but Chiang Mai? It used to be this dumpy little village.

E's parents were stationed in Chiang Mai when he was in elementary school. t /Jess' knowledge of Chiang Mai

Damnit, now I need Thai food for lunch. There is no cheap Thai near my office. t is sad

Punishingly Intricate

I love Walcoals. I picked my first one up on sale and now I'm addicted to $60 bras.

Fortunately my two main Wacoal jams are generally on the inexpensive end of their price range -- more like $40. And so very worth it!

I can't even.

There used to be Marks and Sparks in Canada - I don't know if there still are. We used to go there for Jaffa Cakes. And clothes for my maiden aunt.

Nah, they withdrew from Canada a bunch of years back. I miss the easy access to the food (Marks and Sparks were in malls, little specialty import stores seem to be in pockety little neighbourhoods somewheres). The trousers were good for work, they were canonically excellent if a bit expensive at socks and underwear, and occasionally they'd have a jersey or something that overcame the stodge and was worth wearing. My sister worked Christmases in the local one when she was a student.

There used to be one in the Eaton Centre, right downtown TO. There's a Pottery Barn there now. Sigh.
