Nobody

I will not object to any course of action as long as it makes Buffistas happy. I will gladly open a vein if it'll get us to stop talking about it.

Note: I know people can (and will) keep talking about it. I just hate it.

I'm with bitterchick on needing a process, and needing to follow it.

I'm with Jess in that personal speculation is a no-no.

I'm going off to have fun in other threads.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay.

One, unofficial warning as requested from a number of Buffistas, is being composed.

And sent.

This is tiring.

deleting because decision has been made that makes this irrelenant. After this has calmed down a bit, I'll post the suggestion again for future cases.

Our wings are not tired.

I believe that the volume of discussion concerning the remarkably few problems we have had is far more upsetting than the actual problems.

A streamlined process would be nice. We have the process, but we need a smoother way to use it.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

ita, thank you for sending the warning, if it was you who sent it as an admin. If you asked another Stompy to do it, I'll just say thank you in general to the Stompies.

Because this is a lot of bullshit to deal with on top of HostRocket being wankers.

I was going to reply to a lot of posts, but I'm not going to now that an official warning e-mail has been sent.

And I guess the next step is to wait and see.

And for what it's worth, I miss Allyson being here more than she is now, and I think it's sad that our endless debate/argument/red tape is what drove her (and others) away.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thank you ita for once again being willing to be the stompy.

And I too miss your presence here, Allyson. I'd love to see you around more.

Well - I can post my process suggestion if you like now.

First of all stompies are allowed to be proactive - to decide enough is enough and issue a warning without discussion. But I think most of them won't.

So at a certain minimum number of complaints or if they observe incidents, but are unsure if a warning is needed they ask for comments - letting possible warnee know.

As soon as they have enough comments they say "OK, we've have enough info" and ask that comments stop, possibly waiting for potential warnee to say something if enough time as not been given.

Immediately or after waiting enough time, they get together via e-mail, decide, and warn or not, announcing the decision in bureacracy. Consensus if possible, majority rule if not - among stompies only, not among buffistas as a whole.

It puts a bit on the stompies, but compared to endless decision on isssue of really extraordinary and lasting divisiveness, I hope they will accept the added responsibility.
