No studying? Damn! Next thing they'll tell me is I'll have to eat jelly doughnuts or sleep with a supermodel to get things done around here. I ask you, how much can one man give?

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Jon - here is the thing. We will either get a consensus to try preferential voting "just this once" in the current vote on number of months or we will never get such a consensus. So we actually end up with an argreement this time to use preferential voting this once, then we will not actually vote on the question until after having tried it once. And if we do not get a consenus this time, then we will never get such a consenus. In either case we need to get it in the queue, because I believe there is already stuff ahead of it. For this reason I give Wolfram his first second.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Second Second.

But I really hope we finish up the administrative votes and get on the good stuff, like:

Resolved: Eliza Dushku should be naked. That is all.

"We have trust issues." Mylar

The PV people are like Sam I Am. "Try it, try it. You will see." It's so cute. I'm all for trying PV and seeing if it flies. If it's really crazy making, we don't have to do it again. And honestly, I don't think it's going to come up too often. Most votes will probably be yes/no type things.

Cindy - any chance you and Kat could come into the lightbulb thread, read the last say ten posts, and say what you think?

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

If mathy people and anthropomorphizing of numbers people can agree on this, what other great feat can we accomplish?

Why, with my brains and your super-anthropomorphizing ability, we could rule the world! Bwaaahahahaha!

Gar -- you make my head hurt sometimes, but you have a good point. Still, I'm holding off on seconding anything at this time.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I am so fucking confused. What are people proposing and seconding now? Wolfram didn't propose anything, did he?

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I thought they were seconding Faith naked.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara
