You never know if a girl's gonna say 'yes', or if she's gonna laugh in your face and pull out your still-beating heart and crush it into the ground with her heel.

Art Crawl!!!

I hadn't subscribed in the first place. . .

Do I just automatically get all threads in "message center"?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, Sumi. That is weird. But I'll have to troubleshoot from home.

How about taking all your subs off, accepting those changes, and then resubbing.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, it hasn't appeared since - - perhaps the Board hadn't had it's coffee yet?

But I want no A-C Spoilers Tuesday morning!

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

This was me. And I believe the answer is "yes."

How about taking all your subs off, accepting those changes, and then resubbing.

I did this. Then had to log out, then log back in, and it worked.

Well, it hasn't appeared since - - perhaps the Board hadn't had it's coffee yet?

And then in did this to me yesterday, just to make me feel crazy, but then it was fixed.

Sumi is me. [/validation]

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Occasionally I see threads I'm not subscribed to, but as soon as I read some messages, or hit message center again, they're gone. Doesn't bother me at all.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Remember when I asked about taking the FAQ off geocities? It comes up when I google myself (what? Everybody does it!), and I'd kind of prefer that it not. So can we just take my last name off it? That would be awesome. Thanks.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Hmm just how far does the lack of ridicule go?

For example if someone admired Henry Kissingers and his politics would it be unacceptable to say "Henry Kissinger is a war criminal"?

Jen - Sep 19, 2002 3:35:31 pm PDT #95 of 10001
love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

I don't think that would be unacceptable. I *would* find, "Henry Kissinger is a war criminal, you moron, and if you really knew what you were talking about, you'd feel differently," an unacceptable thing to say.

In the former, you're simply expressing your opinion, which happens to be different from someone else's. In the latter, you're denigrating a person for what they believe and insinuating that they're simply ignorant.

Either way--only three of us expressed interest, so I think it's dead in the water.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I'm going to go out on a limb and state that when *I* post about "ignoring disturbing political talk", it's almost always out of concern that things are getting too heated. YIDPTMV

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yeah. Or if it's detoured into Nixon/Kissinger slash.
