Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

I think that it raises an interesting point, though, regarding enforcement of suspensions/banning. Namely - how do we enforce it?

This is something I've talked with John about a lot. I have an essay-ish thing, saved on the other computer.

Well, it's not going to come as a surprise when I say...I'm surprised. Who knew I still had a naive bone in my body?

I'm glad that it ended peaceably and that he owned up to it and walked away without further drama.

Also, personally, I hope that we never again have to ban someone and deal with this. Because I don't want to have the "proof" conversation.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think the stompies did the right thing.

And I'm impressed that he had the einthencia to own up and walk away. If you're reading this, Anathema-- that took restraint; I admire you for it.

what RL said.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

[What's possibly most frustrating about this - how many times in the beginning was he asked to just hang on and learn the ways of the community before going off and getting disruptive? And when he did, hey presto, it pretty much worked. But with too much in the background and too many deliberate violations to turn back. Ah, well, done now.]

This. I do think this is a good lesson for us to consider as a community going forward. Because...he was trainable. He certainly had his chances, and blew them. But when he came back he made a strong effort to fit in, and seemed to value the culture. Just something to bear in mind when we're dealing with somebody who isn't an obvious troll only intent on disruption.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So for the sheltered among us -- what's this einthencia thing? My internet doesn't know it.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

einthencia

Eh. My misspelling of a WOFverse term. It's on the other computer and arsed if I can go look it up. No one here's a WOFster, anyway.

Basically, he had balls. Or he was sexually aroused, that part wasn't actually very clear....

Thanks for all the fish.

You think? Because when he was directly asked I don't believe he admitted it.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

Since it's over? I'm way inclined to be generous.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

When he was directly asked, and thought he'd be kicked out anyway, he categorically denied it with bluster and heated commentary.

eta: I'm shutting up. It's over. Sorry.

Not the first time. He did this last time.
