"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We haven't finished the first ballot yet. We finish that, and move on with ramifications of it to new and wondrous votes.

whimpers okay

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Given the number of folks who have said they're OK with the wording as is, I'm going to leave the ballot as is. Except that, as an olive branch to those who think the descriptions are leading, I will change "there will need to be runoff ballots" to "there may need to be runoff ballots", and "a small percentage of the total votes" to "a fraction of the total votes."

I hope this is a good compromise. I'll be back in 45 minutes after I finish watching... uhhh... something I just downloaded.

Thanks for all the fish.

I like this, with Jon's suggested wording change. (edit) Err, and what Java said.

I've actually gotten a bit confused as to what we're trying to accomplish. I was hoping for a more balanced view of what Buffistas want, and also less talking. I think that once the voting procedure has been ironed out maybe this will happen.

Well, that was a 45 minutes I don't need to "salvage."

Good catch Java.

I think that once the voting procedure has been ironed out maybe this will happen.

And I still really believe that this will be the case.

Jonathan Will Always Be My Hero

I.... Have... No... Brain.

Neither do any of us, Bets. It's a requisite for Bureaucracy. Have to check your brain at the door.

Thanks for all the fish.

Comments like that aren't helping. I'm trying to read and understand the posts here in order to make an informed decision. I don't think that's deserving of mockery.

I've been right here trying to help, too, Elena. Just having a sense of humor about our on and on. Sorry if it bothered you.

Thanks for all the fish.

Implying that people need to be brainless to participate in this thread isn't particularly funny to me. So, yes, your comment did bother me. Thank you for your apology.
