I can only assume the Stompies have higher priorities and/or are all waiting for someone else to do it. Or else there's a secret cabal conspiring against the movies thread, but I'm not *that* paranoid.
I think there was some feeling that the whitefonting/spoiler policy wasn't yet decided.

I feel that perhaps we should keep the voting on the board in future. I see the attraction of voting in a poll like that, but it seems to have too many possible difficulties- people who can't vote, people who don't bother to vote there when they might here, people who vote lots of times to change the result (some have happened, some could)- that it isn't worth it. Counting posts isn't that difficult.
