It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Up with the sun

(Hey, Jon? I don't know if you saw my post before I edited. I'm in a rotten mood today, and I'm sorry I bitched at your completely valid question because of it. The ongoing discussion was just wearing my patience.)

Roguish Laird

Yay! Big birthday smooch for Jon.

(Or whatever more manly gesture he feels comfortable with.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The problem with voting on the board (before the poll code gets written) is that it's a bitch to tally.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I vote no more voting until the poll code gets written.

Should we set up a poll for that?

I did see it, but no worries. I didn't take it personally. ;)

Thanks, Angus. I guess I better get over to Natter...

Nobody

I'm wondering if the slug for the NAFDA show threads don't need a little more clarification.

For example, the Buffy thread slug reads:

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though—if you post one by accident, an admin will white-font or delete it.

I think by saying that an admin will white-font it leaves whether or not the spoiler belongs in the thread a bit up in the air. I know admins probably don't like to delete, but if spoilers shouldn't be in the thread at all, perhaps the slug should be more clear on that? Just a thought.

I think the phrase "No spoilers though" is pretty clear.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think the white-fonting is for angel in Buffy and vice versa.

Delete is for things that haven't aired.

Speaking of which, did we reach a consensus on the actual spoiler policy for the NAFDA thread. Is it white fonting Angel and Buffy in the show threads for a week (until the next show airs or would have aired?) Until after the weekend? For 2 weeks?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I like the until next show. With possible exceptions in the unlikely event of a serious X-over.

But the follow up does imply that the poster can white-font at their own discretion, which isn't strictly true.
