'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I dithered over which topic to use, as it was a bit of news that I'd have been sorry to miss -- I've been wondering how John is doing, and it had been a chattery night, so more people are likely to have been skipping.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Do Nilly's new episode links go to the start of the watch-and-post, or the start of the post-episode discussion? One of my friends said he wished there was a separate thread for watch-and-post and I thought Nilly could just mark them both.

Summarizing 100 posts would be a lot easier if we got that feature "Display posts __ through __." We could also help people on the Natter Diet by changing the "Recent" link to display the last 50 posts.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Nou, her links go to the beginning of the watch-and-posts.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I have, once again, changed our Buffistapics rating from "adult" to "general." I also changed a few of the picture descriptions ("Blocked Beach Babes" and "HOTTIES!!!") to try and keep them from rating us "adult" again.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Both Nilly and Dana sent me files of Buffy quotes for the random quote generator. I didn't format these and send them before my trip but will get to them within this week. Sorry for the delay.

The quote generator told me today, "You have the emotional maturity of a blueberry scone." It was pretty funny. We need more insults in there.

Noumenon, I'm so totally in agreement with this. But then again, on Friday after a few drinks, I was also trying to convince ita that West Coasters need their own separate watch-and-post threads.

FWIW, I do enjoy it when West Coasters jot down their immediate reactions as the episode goes on and post that. Not as much fun as posting live, but still fun to read.

I don't believe I've posted "live" more than once in the past. Maybe I should try it tonight.
