And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think "until the next episode airs" will be easier for people to keep track of.

That does have a certain coolness to it, amych. I'm not really involved with this discussion, though.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

What about the hiatus times, like we're on on Angel right now?

Just because it would be incredibly weird and quirkily Buffista, I propose that "weekend" in this case mean "whenever Nilly's Sabbath is done".

You know what's even quirkier about it? That it'll be a different hour every week!

I agree with the 'no War Thread' group, from all the reasons stated above. I know that it sometimes feel wrong to post 'serious' posts in the middle of fun natter, but I also feel pretty sure that if this is what is on my mind and is important to me, that's the treatment the post will get from the Buffistas. I'm always reluctant to mention the (quite terrible) political situation in Israel in here, not because I don't trust the conversation to flow, but because it is pretty much a 'safe haven' for me, with people who don't have to face these things daily. However, each time I (or others) have mentioned it, I was assured that I wasn't 'bringing the board down' and 'depressing everybody', but getting the opportunity to share these feelings and thoughts with others, with you guys - and isn't that what natter is all about?

I'm babbling and I lost my point.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I know! But I'm eeevil that way.

I kind of assumed you know, but I wanted to expose your evil ways to the general public. I mean, most people in Israel who don't observe the sabbath can't keep up with its schedule. t /natter

I think we use the regular airtime, no matter if new eps are airing. Or maybe the next morning, so we don't have to worry about timezones. (I'm not married to the idea, but since we all already think in terms of show airtimes anyway in those threads, it seems simpler than "the weekend.")

Up with the sun

most people in Israel who don't observe the sabbath can't keep up with its schedule.

Let alone people with a 12-hour time difference.

Could we do midnight Pacific time on the Saturday the week after the ep airs? For example, we could discuss this week's Buffy in the Angel thread on March 2, and as of right now the last episodes we could post about would be the 2/5 Angel and 2/4 Buffy. Plenty of time for tapes to make their way thru the mail, but not so much time as to cause major problems discussing crossovers and the like.

Oh, and superfluous nagging: when will we open the movies thread?

Oh, how I don't like this. It will make me still not to mention the shows in threads because I'll never be certain that it's safe.
