If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

"Natter 9: What is it with you people and monkeys?" was proposed a ways back.

I forgot about that. I like it.

Regarding The War Thread. There are also "tensions" on the Korean peninsula, so when it comes to the slug...IJS.

ita, how's the server load blah blah I don't know what I'm really asking, with all the current threads and traffic?

Out of curiousity is the War Thread as proposed to discuss foreign policy as it relates to Iraq (and possibly Korea) or is it actually a general politics thread?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

It is most specifically not a general politics thread, and we'll have to strive to keep it that way. Methinks. Meopinionates.

Eek. No war in Korea! I have a friend there!!!

"A thread to politely voice worries, concerns, fears, and other war-related issues. Please do not use raised voices or angry words. This is neither the time nor the place for it."

I was going to say that "worries, concerns, fears" needs some war-positive nouns mixed in, but I'm not sure how one would do that without looking silly.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Can I argue against a thread which is obviously to discuss military action? Not because I don't wanna talk about it, but because I've never seen such a thread not attract serious trols and flamers - at least 2 boards I liked have become uninhabitable because of that syndrome. If we must have such a thread, I suggest an elliptical title so it's not that obvious.

Thanks for all the fish.

Trudy made a suggestion when the subject came up in Bitches. Lemme find it.

Good God, Y'all

Which, as long as flamers don't mistake it as a religious thread, should be nicely obscure, don't you think?
