It is most specifically not a general politics thread, and we'll have to strive to keep it that way. Methinks. Meopinionates.
'War Stories'
Bureaucracy 1: Like Kafka, Only Funnier
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

OMG, ita, I totally thought of you last night when (totally uncharacteristically) at the club, they played "Pussy Control"!!
Eek. No war in Korea! I have a friend there!!!
Go monkey! Choose monkey!
Who's stuffing the ballot with Denzel? dammit
"A thread to politely voice worries, concerns, fears, and other war-related issues. Please do not use raised voices or angry words. This is neither the time nor the place for it."
I was going to say that "worries, concerns, fears" needs some war-positive nouns mixed in, but I'm not sure how one would do that without looking silly.
Can I argue against a thread which is obviously to discuss military action? Not because I don't wanna talk about it, but because I've never seen such a thread not attract serious trols and flamers - at least 2 boards I liked have become uninhabitable because of that syndrome. If we must have such a thread, I suggest an elliptical title so it's not that obvious.
Trudy made a suggestion when the subject came up in Bitches. Lemme find it.

Good God, Y'all
Which, as long as flamers don't mistake it as a religious thread, should be nicely obscure, don't you think?
Natter 9... Natter 9... Natter 9...
I adore this. Love it. Oost it -- in fact. WANT WANT WANT.
It is most specifically not a general politics thread, and we'll have to strive to keep it that way.
I think this is an incredibly difficult goal. I think military action is deeply rooted in both foreign and domestic politics. Not that I'm advocating for this, but it seems to me if you make a thread to discuss war you will, not only draw the trolls as Jim suggests, but you will also end up with a political thread.
I'm against it (surprise! given my anti-thread proliferation stance). But I have already learned I'm in the minority when it comes to thread proliferation so I've given up hope entirely.
Who is anti-Prince?
Morris Day?
