Spike: I'm not a monster. Xander: Yes! You are a monster. Vampires are monsters! They make monster movies about them! Spike: Well, yeah. Got me there.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

It has never been stated onscreen that the slayer line now runs only through Faith. Period.

Nobody

Exactly, Jon.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

WRT Cindy's comments on Angel: Right. On. Target.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Cindy--write another brilliant essay on the subject. You'll have listeners.

If I only had a brain...

If a war starts, I'd like a War thread. I'd like a place to courteously and respectfully discuss what's going on. I don't want to poison Bitches or Natter for other people, but I'd like a Buffista place to deal with the Zeitgeist.

Is this possible? Could we keep it friendly?

sigh. thread proliferation....

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm generally with Burrell on the anti-proliferation side, but I think a war thread might be a good thing if there is indeed to be a war. There are going to be a lot of people needing a place to discuss things, perhaps especially those who know people in the armed forces, and a lot of others who really won't want to see too much of it taking over Natter.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm violently anti-proliferation, BUT: if there IS a war, I'm in favor of a thread to discuss it.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

What would you consider a war? I mean, what if it's only a "police action?" Does it only count if it's declared, or does simply exchanging fire justify thread creation?

Roguish Laird

Does it only count if it's declared, or does simply exchanging fire justify thread creation?

Only the Buffistas would have this conversation!

(I'm pro-thread by the way, and let's just start it now. Also, in the interest of good taste I suggest NOT having a vote for the title!)
