February is upon us, so it's time to close down "Goodbye and Good Riddance 2002: A Very Buffista Holiday Thread." Has everyone gotten their goodies? Has everyone sent their goodies?
If there are no objections, it gets closed tomorrow.
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

Um, I never got anything. :(
And I never sent mine... :( And I will. But we don't need to keep the thread around.
I meant to say that part, too -- go ahead and close the thread.
Could someone ask Nilly to archive post 6306 from the firefly thread? I think this is the appropriate place to post this.
Maybe it should be a (very) FAQ.
edit: post under discussion is a list of the original intended order for showing Firefly eps. There may be some argument over Tim's claiming responsibility, but I tend to believe there's a true order that he was forced to rearrange.
Is there a list of buffistas.org mailing lists somewhere?
I can't remember if it was ever cleared up, but did we ever come up with a list of favorite Buffista charities? I was thinking it would be a nice thing for the Buffista links page, as in, "Buffistas have contributed to these charities (the sprog gift stuff, heifer.org, firstbook.org)."
But then it went nowhere and I wasnt sure if anyone cared but me, and ew, that creepy guy who works up the hill keeps smiling at me.
I think it's a good idea, Allyson, but can contribute nothing but agreement.

Java, the size and font are hardwired into the code.
Not so! The font is, but for posts, the size is not. The browser default size is used. DX is correct that Verdana is bigger than most other fonts, so posts will looks bigger than the text on most other web pages. We've gone around and around on this topic in BBaBB and the current set-up seems to be the best compromise until we build-in user-defined stylesheets.
