Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But I was a big part of that conflict making. Just wanted to offer up a mea culpa, for what it's worth.

Thanks for that, but a lot of these are issues we've been going around and around about for a year anyway.

Jonathan Will Always Be My Hero

Which makes me feel better, Jesse, but does not entirely remove me from the hook.

In any case, nothing would make me feel slimier than to know I contributed to people avoiding a thread. Ticking someone off now and again is going to happen. Not that regrettable. But causing people to leave a thread is giving me a world of guilt.

No hogging the credit, Schmoker. It wasn't the first time a kerfuffle blew up, it won't be the last.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You apologized. John apologized. I think the best thing we can do at this point is leave it behind.

One of the things I've learned from this community is that intelligent, sane, thoughtful people can have disagreements, apologize, and move on without it devolving into community-wide splits or permanent fights. I really value that.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Absolutely, Dana.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Also, why do the Foamies need a separate thread, rather than being in movies?

Er, I didn't know we had a movies thread. Do we? I thought that folks wanted movie talk to stay in Natter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Uh huh. Especially this part:

I think the best thing we can do at this point is leave it behind.

People you have got to keep up. The conflict was soooo last night. It's over.

As far as threads are concerned, I think we should set some parameters on what kinds of tv shows get threads; i.e. ME shows, or ME related shows (i.e. Greenwalt, Endlund, Minear shows that may not be ME) or any shows. Personally I think new threads should be allowed for any sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural type shows (including Alias) that at least ten buffistas want to have. Someone mentioned earlier that unrelated tv shows may draw new members who aren't ME watchers. I think this is a good thing because they will not be able to avoid the buffista references and may actually begin watching the ME shows, just to see what all the other buffistas keep referring to. What better mission for a fan site than to create new fans.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

One of the things I've learned from this community is that intelligent, sane, thoughtful people can have disagreements, apologize, and move on without it devolving into community-wide splits or permanent fights. I really value that.

Awwww. Group hug in the Bureaucracy thread!!!!
