One of the things I've learned from this community is that intelligent, sane, thoughtful people can have disagreements, apologize, and move on without it devolving into community-wide splits or permanent fights. I really value that.

Er, I didn't know we had a movies thread. Do we? I thought that folks wanted movie talk to stay in Natter.
We don't as of yet. What I'm suggesting is this: there was a fair amount of support for a movies thread when we started music, and there's also support of a Foamies thread for our movie awards. If we're doing Foamies again anyhow, it makes sense to me to make a general movies thread and do them in that as a two-birds, one-stone kind of move.
But, hey, just an idea. Don't wanna spoil the group hug.

I'd rather have Foamies in a seperate thread, since it's a project of sorts and I think it would make more sense to have it all in one place. (Although, I didn't participate last year, so I'm not sure how much of it becomes general movies talk.)
