It's really frustrating to be having no real problem on this board and have some guy harrassing me endlessly. So I snapped, but I'm afraid I don't take it back.

But after reading him bashing me endlessly, I decided I deserved to let him have it back a little. And now I would like to just let it drop having had my say. And if you guy want me to split, then just take away my account and be done with it.

John, I respect you a lot, but I think this should have been taken off board and stayed off board. If you wanted to discuss this with the other Stompy Feet then it should have been done privately.

The only thing that has occured is now almost everyone is upset.

I wish that another person in authority had stepped in and made an announcement that this issue was off the table.

I have no idea what's gone on between you and John via email, just through this thread. He said some things about you, and some people said they thought he was taking it too far. That's it. And really, the core of what he was saying was, if you're this banned person, that's bad. All you had to do was say, "No. I'm not him." I can't guarantee that would be enough for everyone to believe it, but it would be enough that I would argue very strongly that it should end the conversation.
