I'm gonna be bitchy for a moment and say that I think this is a non-issue. Is Joss going to show up around here again? I doubt it. Unless he has a new show to promote or is trying to save one of his existing ones, we won't be seeing him around these parts.

I'd say that's an argument against having him in the FAQ. That said, I like what Michele said.

As someone new to the fold, or at least new as a poster, let me say that mentioning that people might occasionally see a post from a show member or writer is probably cool as long as you don't word it so you are using it as an enticement for people.

As long as you are not using it to mislead people into thinking that by coming here they will get to regularly converse with ME people, then there should not be a problem. Because it is kind of cool that they do occasionally drop by. And the truth should always be ok to advertise.

Truth - there might be an ME post once in a blue moon.

Non-truth (known as a "lie" prior to the year 2000)- Joss comes on a lot and will be picking his favorite posters to appear on the show.

I'm against Jossvertising. A) because he doesn't turn up often and, B) because it seems somewhat declasse.

And it will draw a lot of VIP hounds, which is not what we want. I'd rather never see Joss, Tim, etc. here again, but I have issues from the Beta.
