It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I'm not fussed.

I didn't think you were (if I understand that OZ slang correctly ;) ). I really thought you wanted something in theFAQ corrected. No worries.

Jonathan Will Always Be My Hero

As someone new to the fold, or at least new as a poster, let me say that mentioning that people might occasionally see a post from a show member or writer is probably cool as long as you don't word it so you are using it as an enticement for people.

As long as you are not using it to mislead people into thinking that by coming here they will get to regularly converse with ME people, then there should not be a problem. Because it is kind of cool that they do occasionally drop by. And the truth should always be ok to advertise.

Truth - there might be an ME post once in a blue moon.

Non-truth (known as a "lie" prior to the year 2000)- Joss comes on a lot and will be picking his favorite posters to appear on the show.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

I'm against Jossvertising. A) because he doesn't turn up often and, B) because it seems somewhat declasse.

Nobody

And it will draw a lot of VIP hounds, which is not what we want. I'd rather never see Joss, Tim, etc. here again, but I have issues from the Beta.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cindy speaks for me.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

What prompted my question is that Tim is listed as a famous citizen...alongside ita, Hec, jengod. The purpose of Tim's listing is to say, "yes, that really is Tim, in case you were suspicious."

Like I said, matters not to me, either way. I was just lobbing it out there.

I think when we added Tim, he was posting fairly regularly. That has never been the case with Joss. I'm not opposed to adding Joss to the FAQ, but I'm not sure he needs to be in there either.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm kinda starting to wonder about creating a separate faq at all. Is ours already unmanageable that we wouldn't be able to tuck in some more basic show questions? Would it make it unusable for other people who don't care about our boards to have just the one?

We could edit the FAQ to take out stuff no one asks about anymore...e.g., Cousin Klingon, the OCM, GGG, KoB, Stortroopers, and Why We Have So Many Threads. But I admit those questions don't take up a lot of space.

I love the FAQ and always end up reading the whole thing. I'm surprised that people can't make it all the way through...how then would you even make it through a thread?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We could edit the FAQ to take out stuff no one asks about anymore...e.g., Cousin Klingon, the OCM, GGG, KoB, Stortroopers, and Why We Have So Many Threads.

I was having a similar thought, and including 5x5 in the list, and then someone asked about it! But I think the ones you have are clear.

Up with the sun

I would agree with cutting those and integrating the Mythology FAQ into the big FAQ, if that's what the consensus is. I think the original thought was creating more a fandom resource than a Buffista resource, hence the new FAQ.

Would Previously be the right place to get answers for the Qs on the list that I can't find?
