My food is problematic...

Now more lovely info, justkim saw it too and provided a little semi-transcript:

First, they referred to Joss as “the Nutty Producer.” (Offensive because Fox is airing The Nutty Professor right now instead of Firefly.)

It said “He’s no stranger to resurrecting the dead. He convinced UPN to resurrect BtVS after The WB axed it from their schedule.” (Not quite right.)

“Joss posted on his website” that Fox has indicated it won’t stand in his way of shopping the show around. Blah blah quotecakes. Will keep bird in air.

"For more news go to www.buffistas.org "

Web address displayed, very easy to see and read. Up for 5-10 seconds.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"For more news go to www.buffistas.org "

I think the hair on my arms would be standing on end if I had channel flipped and caught that.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I've just turned to my TVGuide station to see if I can catch it. NOT GOOD! I would think that ME wouldn't want this kind of mis-information out there, any way to get them on TV Guide's ass?

ita's got Tim's email address. I'm sure Kristen, Allyson and Kiba could forward the transcript too. Scrappy could get it to Jane.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I don't think it would bother anyone. The Beta has been misrepresented, before, and really, ME SHOULD have an official site. It's odd that a production company that relies so heavily on net culture for the dissemination of info does not have a website. Most of the writers post, or read the web, and a site would allow them to control info, better.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Is there a disclaimer anywhere here that says "Buffistas.org is a fan-owned-and-operated site, and is not affiliated in any way with Mutant Enemy, Fox, UPN, or The WB"?

'Cause I'm thinking now might be a good time to add one.

Although, honestly, I'm inclined to agree with PMM that this is a less big deal than we're making it. Has anyone here ever gone to a website you saw on television? (Other than you're local news station for weather, that is.) I think we'll get less traffic from this than from from LJ, honestly.

hip deep in pie

Jess has a good point. Even when I see a site I'd be interested in, usually by the time I get around to my computer, I'm like, "I wanted to look something up...what was it..."

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's unlikely to get us a lot of attention, but a disclaimer about this being owned and operated by US would be a good idea, if we don't have one already.
