I would think that ME wouldn't want this kind of mis-information out there, any way to get them on TV Guide's ass?
ita's got Tim's email address. I'm sure Kristen, Allyson and Kiba could forward the transcript too. Scrappy could get it to Jane.
A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

I don't think it would bother anyone. The Beta has been misrepresented, before, and really, ME SHOULD have an official site. It's odd that a production company that relies so heavily on net culture for the dissemination of info does not have a website. Most of the writers post, or read the web, and a site would allow them to control info, better.
Is there a disclaimer anywhere here that says "Buffistas.org is a fan-owned-and-operated site, and is not affiliated in any way with Mutant Enemy, Fox, UPN, or The WB"?
'Cause I'm thinking now might be a good time to add one.
WROD with more Wrod than I have ever expressed before.
please make it so.
Although, honestly, I'm inclined to agree with PMM that this is a less big deal than we're making it. Has anyone here ever gone to a website you saw on television? (Other than you're local news station for weather, that is.) I think we'll get less traffic from this than from from LJ, honestly.
Jess has a good point. Even when I see a site I'd be interested in, usually by the time I get around to my computer, I'm like, "I wanted to look something up...what was it..."
It's unlikely to get us a lot of attention, but a disclaimer about this being owned and operated by US would be a good idea, if we don't have one already.
Yeah, I'm not really worried about a huge influx of people, I just don't like that we are being presented as an official anything.
still watching TV Guide.

TechTV gives good links. That geeky guy on "Call for Help" has sent me to the browser a couple times.
Hec said what I wanted to say, about Natter. It's just too much, and for someone shy like me popping into Natter is hard. It's like jumping into the middle of multiple conversations, none of which you necessarily have anything to add to. So unless I hit it at the right time, I end up skipping and not posting. Not liking that this bothers people, but I think Hec is right about growing pains.
Also, a big UH-OH on the TVGuide Channel mention. I personally have visited websites I've seen on TV, and if I were a Firefly/Joss fanatic who didn't already know about this place and saw the blurb, I'd be signing up right now.
