But again - it paints the reality. We speak disrespectfully of George Bush here. We speak disprespectfully of Julia Roberts. We speak disrespectfully of annoying coworkers, and evil ex-bosses. And that is not a violation of Buffista courtesy. That is the reality of the actual Buffista practice.
Sounds good, Hec. I'll set it up.

I think the rule to being a successful poster here is to think about the effects your post might have on the readers before you post it. If you think it's going to upset or piss off a bunch of them, think about it twice before posting. See if you can tone it down and still make the same point. If not, decide if the point is really, really that important. If not, don't post. If you predict wrong and do cause a ruckus, you apologize, try to minimize the damage.
If this sounds familiar, it's because it's what one does every single day when talking to people. If one isn't a jerk. But it seems to rarely be a part of the process of posting to Internet message boards. Except here.

The full quote from which the new music thread gets its name is:
They are moving closer as they sing, interrupting whatever thoughts they were going to finish with a sudden, passionate, kiss. The music (and who can blame it) swells, and we hear a final:
(html - mine)
Can we please correct the thread title to: The music (and who can blame it) swells -
a) because I'm a pain in the arse
b) because I think the positioning of the parenthetical remark adds to the humor
c) because I'm a pain in the arse
d) See old natter discussion on fan-fucking-tastic vs. fantas-fucking-ic
e) because I'm still a pain in the arse

Please?
Did we actually reach a consensus on that name as opposed to "Give Me Something To Sing About"?
good point - I'm not sure.
billytea, yes I think there was more interest in the name as it got used.
