I want to note that Buffistechnoogy (new name) is more of a Q&A thread than a chat thread.
It's not a thread where I'd want to discourage natter, but it ought to be a thread that anyone can go to with a question about computers or whatever, and a thread that people who can help with computers and whatever keep an eye on. I don't know what an apposite name for that kind of thread is, but it's kind of different to the other ones in my mental map.

Also against a music thread, for all the reasons already cited because Hayden's board (which I've forgotten the location of) is a great resource for music geeks that seemed to me in sync enough with the Buffista vibe that one could be perfectly comfortable there.
Also against a music thread, because everyone here except me has appalling taste in music and I would just get frustrated reading it.

Would it be in violation of our codes to autospork someone like, say Dr. Lloyd, should he have the nerve to show his face?
He's the worst. person. ever. And a bad speller, too. I don't know. I think you let someone speak, and if the speech is only (as this person is want to do) to monitor for VIP posting, then show up to attack them, then you just send 'em packing.
