MOO apparently is a recursive acronym, standing for MUD Object Oriented.

I think our relative musical mileages tend to vary too much for a sustained discussion with a critical mass of people.

I have no real opinion on the matter, but should note that the big reason we were against it before was because of the already-extant threads in WXing and TT, which Fater was a big part of, IIRC.
Still, I'm inclined to think that music natter, even more than technoogy and book natter, will roam freely around the board, and that fencing it may be a self-defeating prospect.
