I was the one who mentioned selling the software as an alternative to WebCrossing -- which is outrageously overpriced -- but although my tone may have been joking, I was serious. However, in hindsight, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to try and profit financially from the software. The similarities to WebX might cause some ... umm ... snarkiness from Lundeen and Co.. Releasing it as Open Source, then ''profiting'' from the addition to your resumé, might be the way to go.

Question: Is there any way to change my login? I just found out that I will need to change my name and email addy if I want any privacy.
You can change your e-mail address, or have it not made visible. Ask an admin, and one of us will change your name.
Burrell, can you just re-register under a different name and email and leave the old one dormant?
BTW, for people who want free email that's not obvious - and gets virtually no spam - www.wrexham.net has a bunch of options.
Thanks! Problem may be in hand, but I'm probably gonna go with paranoid ass coverage anyway.
- Fanfics by Buffistas
- Recommended Fanfics
Don't some people t coughShriftcough hate the usage "fanfics"? We could probably change these to "Fanfiction [no 's'] by Buffistas" and "Recommended Fanfiction" in the interest of preventing aneurysms.
Someone mentioned the contre les vampires site -- is it dead? moved? pining fjordwise?
That was me. AFAIK it's mort.
Fanfic has been expanded.
Mort? Really? But .. but ...
Okay, when I'm out of the denial phase of mourning I'll delete the link.
I just looked at a few of the links...
Both the Buffy and Angel music pages are now on www.buffymusic.net, so those links can be updated and combined into one.
The link title says "Psyche's Transcripts," but the guy's name isn't Psyche, so maybe it should just be "Psyche Transcript Site."
I imagine we can take down the AICN article from 2001 and the Zap2It article from 2001? They seem to be just about the (then) upcoming season. But I don't have strong feelings about this.
Is there any way to cull the list of recommended fanfic(tion)?
My reflex is that the recommended fanfiction should point to rec pages or to archives. I mean, ask Dana and Shrift -- recs are a job in and of themselves.
For now, I'm leaving the articles. I've combined the music, and I'm wondering if anyone has the scoop on the transcript site -- it's down now. Is it expected to stay that way?
I think Joerg said he was having technical difficulties but that it should be back up.
