Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Fanfic has been expanded.

Mort? Really? But .. but ...

Okay, when I'm out of the denial phase of mourning I'll delete the link.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just looked at a few of the links...

Both the Buffy and Angel music pages are now on www.buffymusic.net, so those links can be updated and combined into one.

The link title says "Psyche's Transcripts," but the guy's name isn't Psyche, so maybe it should just be "Psyche Transcript Site."

I imagine we can take down the AICN article from 2001 and the Zap2It article from 2001? They seem to be just about the (then) upcoming season. But I don't have strong feelings about this.

Is there any way to cull the list of recommended fanfic(tion)?

My reflex is that the recommended fanfiction should point to rec pages or to archives. I mean, ask Dana and Shrift -- recs are a job in and of themselves.

For now, I'm leaving the articles. I've combined the music, and I'm wondering if anyone has the scoop on the transcript site -- it's down now. Is it expected to stay that way?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think Joerg said he was having technical difficulties but that it should be back up.

It was up last night.

Y'know, I could maintain a (edit: separate) recs page if we wanted to have one.

So long as it's just grunt work and no actual thinking is involved.

I do like that idea. A whole-Buffista recs site, that we could update ourselves by sending emails to PMM, hmm? I know that I've got a few pages of recs written out and stored on my hard drive-- I'm not sure what I wanted to do with them, but they're there.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think we'd want to have a "recc'd by Rebecca Lizard", "recced by PMM" , recced by Susan W. sort of thing, because, while we all usually like well-written fanfic, we like divergent fanfic. Or, I guess it could be recced by couple. (says the person who reads only buffista produced fanfic, or Buffy/Spike)

Oh yes. I was thinking in terms of also having written a tiny blurb about the piece-- you know, also mentioning the time/place it was set, the pairings unless it's considered a spoiler for the piece, any reservations you may have ("This is one of the best Spike-with-a-soul pieces I've seen in ages-- but the Willow voice almost made me close the window"). That sort of thing.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I do like the idea of a "recommended by (Buffista)" blurb along with a little bit about why the recommender recommended that piece. I would find that a lot more useful than just a link that leads off into the unknown.
