love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

Don't you dare, Fay. There is NOTHING wrong with how you post.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Here's the problem I have. I don't like this guy. I, for one, want him the hell out of here. It is not like this is someone who has been posting here for a long time. He just showed up a few days ago, he's making a lot of my friends uncomfortable, and he seems to be testing the boundaries of how far we will let him go. If we let him stay, a lot of other newbies are going to think that his manner of discourse is acceptable here. People have warned him that his comments are inappropriate. He seems unimpressed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't think we can assume he's dismissed them until he oversteps them again, otherwise we're judging him on inappropriate contrition.

He's been warned, by many people.

Next time, he gets stomped.

If I only had a brain...

Okay, works for me.

Our wings are not tired.

Fay - I always enjoy and often laugh out loud when I read your posts. PLEASE don't consider your posts comparable to the objectionable poster. Oh my, consider the number of your posts in COMM!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

If the poster in question was otherwise nice and seemed interested in fitting in, I'd think he was just tone deaf to the difference between pleasingly bawdy and disgustingly raunchy. However, I'm thinking really clever troll, using the fact it's hard to codify bawdy vs. raunchy against us.

Regular posters have joked about inappropriate thoughts of Dawn after OMWF.

Guilty as charged. But not crudely, as Betsy said, and with a sense of a guilty admission, not with this guy's dirty-minded relish.

I don't like this guy. I, for one, want him the hell out of here. It is not like this is someone who has been posting here for a long time.

I agree, but being devil's advocate, it must be confusing for him to see one type of crude joke being made, and make another type, and get rebuffed.

The rebuffs aren't having much effect, as well. One thing he's said, in case you missed it, is that he's posting drunk.

He's been warned, by many people.

Does he know he's been officially warned? Is there language we should use to make that clear?

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

Does he know he's been officially warned? Is there language we should use to make that clear?

I want to stress that it's worth making that clear to him, for his sake and the board's.

Stomp, please?

Please?
