See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Support Firefly Kai Cole, designer, architect and wife of Joss Whedon, sent me the following link. Save Firefly If you are a fan of "Firefly," please go have a look. I'm planning to get up a letter-writing/phone-calling campaign tomorrow, using Save Farscape as my model. It will be much calmer than that because there hasn't been an official cancellation word, but their campaign has been very visible and I think it's early enough that some visibility might get Firefly the chance to be shown on another night. Monday, Wednesday or Thursday perhaps. Of course there are concerns about genre shows... I know Enterprise and Birds of Prey are on Wednesdays. What about Mondays and Thursdays? Are genre shows on then? I think mentioning the X-Files might go a long way with this one. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I should be on Instant Messenger for the greater part of tomorrow night (KibaRika) if anyone has ideas to contribute.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I am now, officially, a footnote in Business History!

Just got my copy of Jason Jennings' new book, "Less is More: How great companies use productivity as a competitive tool in business," in which I'm quoted and my work covering the lay-off crisis is covered!

One dull year as a business did not go to waste!

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

It's still a few days early, but Happy Halloween Everyone!

Contact: Kimberly Hirsh kiba@jossisahottie.com

DATE: October 25, 2002 HEADLINE: Firefly Fans Unite to Show Support

BODY: In response to the FOX Network’s request for three more episodes of Joss Whedon’s Firefly, fans of the show are contacting Fox to show their appreciation for the program.
