Support Firefly Kai Cole, designer, architect and wife of Joss Whedon, sent me the following link. Save Firefly If you are a fan of "Firefly," please go have a look. I'm planning to get up a letter-writing/phone-calling campaign tomorrow, using Save Farscape as my model. It will be much calmer than that because there hasn't been an official cancellation word, but their campaign has been very visible and I think it's early enough that some visibility might get Firefly the chance to be shown on another night. Monday, Wednesday or Thursday perhaps. Of course there are concerns about genre shows... I know Enterprise and Birds of Prey are on Wednesdays. What about Mondays and Thursdays? Are genre shows on then? I think mentioning the X-Files might go a long way with this one. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I should be on Instant Messenger for the greater part of tomorrow night (KibaRika) if anyone has ideas to contribute.

I am now, officially, a footnote in Business History!
Just got my copy of Jason Jennings' new book, "Less is More: How great companies use productivity as a competitive tool in business," in which I'm quoted and my work covering the lay-off crisis is covered!
One dull year as a business did not go to waste!
Zero is auctioning off more James Marsters memorabilia to pay for the hosting on the JM fansite [link] .
I have senior pictures, la la la: [link]
It's still a few days early, but Happy Halloween Everyone!

The following is a copy and paste of a post taken from the Bronze Beta on the Firefly Appreciation Campaign.
(begin copy) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Contact: Kimberly Hirsh kiba@jossisahottie.com
DATE: October 25, 2002 HEADLINE: Firefly Fans Unite to Show Support
BODY: In response to the FOX Network’s request for three more episodes of Joss Whedon’s Firefly, fans of the show are contacting Fox to show their appreciation for the program. Firefly: Immediate Assistance is a campaign organized by Kimberly Hirsh, owner and manager of JossWhedon.net and JossisaHottie.com to rally Firefly fans around the world.
The campaign consists of three phases. The first involves sending postcards to Fox executives thanking them for giving Firefly a home. The second phase is a similar postcard campaign directed at the show’s advertisers thanking them for their support. The third is a fundraising endeavor directed at purchasing a full page ad in Variety and one in TV Guide to show support for Firefly.
