smonster posted on 8/9 about the WB having a sale here smonster "Sunnydale Press" Aug 9, 2010 9:04:02 am PDT and I ordered the first two seasons of SPN and was told they would ship by 8/18. It still hasn't shipped and getting customer service to respond to me has been brutal. I'd never shop with them again. Not smonster's fault, at ALL because it was a great sale and I was so happy to see her post. But my experience with them has been worse than awful.

Just throwing this out here, but if anyone's thinking about attending the Colbert/Stewart rallies in DC, we have a guest room and a pull-out couch. Profile addy is good.

Lurkers and posters ahoy! Time flies, and it's October again. Drop by the delurking thread to talk about yourself. Also, take the opportunity to update your profile so that you show up on the right place on the Buffista map.
I think this is a cool project, and I have struck up an acquaintance with the documentarians who are making it(I intend to put up some birthday money if they meet their funding goals.) No pressure, but I really want to see that happen. And, yes, it'll be cool to be in Special Thanks in the credits. [link]
I'm pretty sure I will be out of town for 8-9 days around Thanksgiving week. If there's Buffista who'd like to stay in my 2-bedroom place in Oakland and use it as a sightseeing base for that week, email me. No smoking indoors, and dogs are welcome.
The online booksellers are starting to show up for Sam preorders...
I'll be in San Francisco on Sunday the 10th, talking up Sam at Book Passage and making an ass out of myself as well.
